Welcome to my brand new crochet blog. There's plenty that I do in life, including managing a local menagerie comprised of two kids, two cats and one hubby. I also manage a very large website about cats - my passion and vocation - where cat lovers join to share knowledge, stories, pictures and support. If you're a cat lover, please visit my site at TheCatSite.com.

Crochet is something I've enjoyed doing through out my life. When the kids were younger, I simply didn't have the time to get much done (and I'm not talking just about crochet here either!), but now, in my 40th year of life, I'm taking it up again, with a passion.

I've decided to create this blog as a place on the web where I can share my passion and post about my projects. Welcome everyone - please don't be shy and leave comments when you can.

  1. Glad to have found you!

Although I taught myself to crochet (in order to not have to sew knitted seams together) the only things that I learned to do are ripple afghans. A very dear friend taught me and now when crocheting that style, I remember her and the friendship we enjoyed. Dorothy, z"l.

Although I have a similar crochet hook, for that type of afghan I use only the one Dorothy gave to me.

My kitties are gone ... but not from my memory, as is my beautiful Saint Bernard.

I look forward to seeing more of your lovely crochet items.

Oh, do you knit or do Knooking or Tunisian Crochet?
